King F.O.E. of the BLKHRTS -- that's what F.O.E. goes by now, and I think he just does FOE instead of F.O.E. -- explained the who, what, where behind the single in an email response to my questions:
"Basically this us our first installment of our monthly releases of singles until the album TH BLK EXPRNC next year. Also during this time all of the members of the BLKHRTS will release a solo EP of six songs, the first to be Yonnas' The Sex Tape, which we will release a song a week for eight weeks leading up to the full release of the album, the next month following Junkie by me and a violence-themed EP by Karma. We are looking to drop a lot of really dope music this year just to get everyone ready for the full BLKHRTS album."
